Below are the optional activities we will be offering during the conference this year. Each activity will be hosted by a member of the El Pollo Loco Executive Team.
LA JOLLA SEA CAVE KAYAKS - SOLD OUT
Experience southern California's surf culture, observe dozens of species of marine animals, and visit 4 different marine environments during your kayak tour with La Jolla Sea Cave Kayaks! After a 20-minute drive from the Manchester Grand Hyatt, you will get in tandem kayaks to paddle through a marine ecological reserve that contains five distinct marine environments in less than 2 square miles making it one of the most unique stretches of coastline in California.
SAN DIEGO SEAL TOUR
See the sights of San Diego by land and sea on this 90-minute SEAL Tour! You depart from Seaport Village and drive through the streets of San Diego before splashing into the water for a cruise through the San Diego Bay. You’ll see some of San Diego’s most famous sights, including the Maritime Museum, Star of India, The U.S.S. Midway, Lindbergh Field, Seaport Village and Shelter Island.
SAN DIEGO SEGWAY TOUR
This two-hour experience has everything you need to become acquainted with San Diego. Board your very own Segway and cruise through the heart of downtown San Diego and alongside the Embarcadero waterfront. Led by educational and entertaining guides, you’ll take in views of the USS Midway, Coronado Island, Gaslamp Quarter and Petco Park. San Diego's hidden gems won’t stay secret for long on this fun and educational tour!
SAN DIEGO ZOO
The San Diego Zoo is home to more than 3,700 rare and endangered animals, representing over 650 species and subspecies, located just north of San Diego within Balboa Park. Perfect for all ages, the zoo features a safari park, petting zoo and airborne Skyfari tram with breathtaking views of the entire zoo. After you’ve visited with the giraffes, pandas or monkeys, enjoy the botanical collection of more than 700,000 exotic plants.
HORNBLOWER
Get out in the San Diego sun on a Hornblower Luncheon Cruise. Departing from the pier near the USS Midway Museum in downtown San Diego, the cruise includes views of Seaport Village, the Maritime Museum and Coronado Island and Bridge. Enjoy lunch and the beauty of the San Diego skyline on board a beautiful yacht!
